While at the Coliseum, Francisco celebrated the Via Crucis, the papal chaplain, the Polish Konrad Krajewski, was responsible for coordinating the delivery in various train stations in Rome where the "homeless" seeking refuge.

Francisco named Krajewski as limosnero on August 3, 2013 with the mission to go out and assist those who need more help and since then the Vatican body distributed money, umbrella and sleeping bags to people on the street, and organized the construction of showers so they can sanitized.
