Two ships of the US Navy who traveled by Persian Gulf were arrested today by Iran and ten sailors were momentarily captured, according to the Pentagon .
"Today we lost contact with two US ships covering the Kuwait-Bahrain route," said a source at the Pentagon, cited by the news agency EFE.
"we have made contact with the Iranian authorities, which have guaranteed us safety and security of our staff. we have received assurances that the sailors will be released immediately to continue its path," said the source .
